Crossfire Oregon is proud to announce that it will work with the Willamette United Football Club to build SouthLake Park, a new world-class athletic facility and community park.

The park will be located at 1555 SW Borland Road and will serve as the headquarters and home fields for all Willamette United Football Club and Crossfire Oregon programs.

SouthLake Park will include three outdoor turf fields for soccer, lacrosse and football.

The park will also feature an operational building with offices, classrooms, a large multi-purpose room, concessions, and a 30,000 SF indoor training facility. The people of our community will have access to an outdoor amphitheater, playground, BBQ pit/picnic area and jogging path.

While everyone involved with the project is optimistic about building the park, it must be stressed that this project is far from a "done deal". There are several hurdles that need to be cleared before construction can begin. The clubs are currently working with Clackamas County to secure a conditional use permit. An experienced team of consultants is helping work with the team at Clackamas County in order to make sure

that the park is created in a way that is safe and respectful of the neighborhood, community and environment. Club leadership is in the process of meeting with local groups like the Stafford Hamlet, the Stafford-Tualatin Valley CPO and local schools to get valuable input as we proceed.

An aggressive capital campaign is underway to raise the money needed to build the park. If a conditional use permit is earned, the clubs will need to raise $12 million from a combination of existing revenue, new revenue, sponsors, donations and private financing to reach our goal.
